3 seeds straight in pots with potting mix in heated propagator.
100% germination and showing within 48 hours.23/03/2018 at 6:31 pm #4997
This is the unit I have that houses 2 24w T5 fluorescent tubes. I have 3 of these units in total as they do a good job of starting seeds, nursing cuttings and keeping mother plants.23/03/2018 at 6:34 pm #4999
One of the seedlings liked to stretch, this weakened the stem so I used a tooth pick to support.23/03/2018 at 6:42 pm #5001
The plants are starting to show roots at the bottom of the pots and are developing their second node.
I’m just watering with a spray bottle at the moment with 1ml of Acti Vera mixed with 200ml of water.27/03/2018 at 11:57 am #5008
Natural light shots, plants are developing lovely thick leathery leaves.27/03/2018 at 11:59 am #5010

I’ve been using the Acti Vera at full strength, I firmly believe in less is more when it comes to plant feed but seeing as this is an additive I decided this time round to follow the dosage on the bottle.
I’m glad I did because I’ve not had seedlings and young plants looking this dark green and strong in light mix using 1/5 strength acti vera dosage last grow.
I’m considering not buying any more bio-silica.29/03/2018 at 2:08 pm #5014

Lovely looking plant there mate, yes they do make nice thick leafs innit.
I grew them a few times, are seeds I got from Simon to play with but not breed with, really nice plants and massive yields of old-skool dirty skunky bubblegummie goodness.29/03/2018 at 4:58 pm #5016
Thanks amsterdammer! These certainly do sound special and it’s been years since I last had the Chronic.
I hope to be getting a little box tent that Secret Jardin do for propagation, in time to take cuttings, it fits one of the T5 units I have exactly to make the most of the light.
Will be ordering one with a new reflector for my 400w, going back to a horizontal shade!
Plants due a pot up tomorrow, can start them on the root juice and ecothrive charge in potting mix under the 150w MH and get them internodes stacked!30/03/2018 at 12:50 pm #5017
Good job I potted up today as the plants were looking a bit cramped in their pots!
0.75L pots with 2 parts potting mix, 1 part perlite and a sprinkle of ecothrive charge. Watered in with Acti Vera and Root Juice.04/04/2018 at 1:43 pm #5019
Plants are picking back up finally, gave them a dose of fish mix and alg-a-mic.
150w MH is set up, couple of pics – the ballast I use, made by Maxibright the same as the T5 fluorescent units I have and I also have the 250w ballast which I use when I pot up to 3.5L
Also the mini 8 reflector made for 150w bulbs, I will be ordering the larger version to use with my 250w (and the 400w I use for flowering)04/04/2018 at 1:46 pm #5022

Looking at the last pics from 3 days ago the plants really are firing along now, 7 nodes on each plant now and a noticeable size difference. Need to order my new reflector asap as I should be potting up next week and firing up the 250w. Not going to top or train these as I am intended to take cuts and observe how they grow naturally.08/04/2018 at 3:20 pm #5026

Looking very healthy, this strain is a medium-low stretcher, perfect for single cola flowering, I used to have 25 of these in a 1.20 mtr x 1.20 mtr tent and massive yields, good old Serious Seeds strains are awesome.14/04/2018 at 6:07 pm #5027
Busy week! New reflector came as well as my new little propagation tent, buzzin.
Reflector in action, puts light down great in a square footprint and I’ve been able to put it down nice and low because it’s vented!
